Alright, so I was going to post today about the ton of albums I’m working on, but I really wanted to post these photos of our vacation. When we arrived at Brad’s folks’ house in Truro, MA, they gave me my birthday presents – 2 baby magnolia trees planted in the backyard and a Lensbaby. I used the Lensbaby for ALL the photos I took on vacation to get practice and have a ton of fun… it felt so great. Being forced to use a new crazy lens like this really shifted me back into my street photography focus in the strangest of ways. It was really awesome. Photos (only two, noted below, are posed) and commentary below.
Fishing lures in their house. These are hung above the entranceway. They were Brad’s grandfather’s. These are the really good ones that he retired to just be displayed:

A bee on the lavender growing in their front yard:

My nephew Liem, working on his upcoming album, Surf and Shofaring:

Brad and Mo at bedtime:

Here are a number from Provincetown, where I got the best pedicure I’ve ever had. These epitomize what I learned in Prague. I’ll squeal over them after you look:

Check out the woman pointing her thumb back at Elvis in the first, and his iPod. Check out the fudge signs behind him in the second. Ugh I could die a happy woman.
My gorgeous sister, talking to my mother as we looked out past a lighthouse:

My father’s hands, and Brad’s behind them:

Brad and I – we are posed. Our hair is not:

These are from the celebration Brad and his brother, Eric, threw for their parents’ 40th wedding anniversary:

All in all, a great vacation :)
