There’s a new fad in the wedding photography world: textures. So many people are using them in post-processing that I wanted to stay as far away from it as possible. If a client asked, I would absolutely use them, with a warning that this may be out of fashion just as the bouquet-in-color-background-in-bw has faded. But I happened across a really interesting set of textures online – rather than making photos look more grungy, they were Venitian fabric patterns. I first saw them on Hey Girl, Nice Shot.
I thought that was a really cool twist on textures, and these may be really add to some photos. So I tried these out – let me know what you think! Click on the names to see the original images.
