Sarah and Mike had a gorgeous fall wedding at the Cloisters in Maryland. It was the perfect setting for the day, and they really lucked out on the weather, too! There were lots of beautiful places to take some nontraditional wedding photographs and Carmen and I went to town (we even used some film, which I’ll get back today!). They wrote their own ceremony and it really reflected the two of them; the details of the day were also sweet representations of their relationship and the family that they’re surrounded by. They even lined the mantles on the fireplaces with framed photos of them and their family. All of the little details – tables named after their favorite movies, “A Night Before Christmas” goblets, a hand-picked track list for the reception – came together to showcase this couple and their union, and it was just perfect.
