Some fav new posts on So You’re EnGAYged

Natalie wrote an amazing post on five things not to say to a gay couple getting married that’s getting a lot of traction.

Another blogger grappled with the question, What’s in a same-sex wedding ceremony?

Bobby and Stephanie – Rehearsal

One of the best parts of the trip to Mexico was getting to know Stephanie and Bobby’s close friends and family. This opportunity is pretty much guaranteed to turn out better photos! Here’s a shot of Steph and Bobby about to get on the plane at Newark, and then documenting the experience:

OK guys, don’t kill me for posting this, but I think this is an adorable photo of you two holding hands on the bus.

Trips with film

Brad and I decided that this year, if we were taking non-work photos while on a trip, we would strive to take them with one of our film cameras. Below are some of my favorites thus far, using two Pentax K1000′s and color slide film and Tri-X. The slide film was cross-processed, giving it that vintage green look. I love it.

I have a fascination with small, white United Methodist churches. I really like taking photos of them.
